About Me ...: I am a Fashion Merchandising student currently attending UMES. Hopefully, as of Spring '09 I will be attending LIM in New York. After graduation, I plan to go in the field of Visual Merchandising. While in school I plan to become a part-time Fashion Stylist, and eventually, a Designer and/or Boutique Owner.

Fashion Industry Experience: I am currently in a fabulous internship at a boutique in Baltimore, Katwalk Boutique. I am a Stylist/Merchandiser intern. Occasionally, I do Visual Merchandising projects. I work really hard, and it is benefiting me greatly.

While in school, I participated in a workstudy program where I worked in our Fashion Department assisting one of our Historic Costumes Professor with the organization of the costumes department. Also, I helped organize a local flea market to help raise money for scholarships within our department.

What is hot in fashion this year?: For Fall 2008, There are deep colors, like purple, maroon, electric blues, detailed and unique tights, t-strapped shoes, oxford heels are still in, and black of course.
