It may be a good idea for your friend to attend a trade show event in New York. The fabric shows may be a good place to display textile trimming products. You can browse the listings of fashion industry trade shows.

Also, you may want to check out some of the buyers guides.

Also, you can contact USA Clothing Factories.

If the company has a website, they can list details on a new site I am developing called the trims and notions directory at http://www.apparelsearch.com/Guides_Directories/GUIDES_Fashion_Indu... that site is brand new so it probably will not help your friend much yet. However, they can add a free listing so the company information is visible after the site becomes more active.
