I am contacting you for networking and conversational purposes and perhaps potential business opportunities between our two boutiques for a stronger international presence. I just launched a fashion startup in Senegal West Africa , dakarboutique.com, and was just looking to build an international network. I grew up in Senegal and Norway and now live in New York and I am also a photographer recently published in Vogue Italia and the New York Times.You can read more about the company and our business philosophy below. 

Dakar boutique is the first online store in Senegal that provides shipping and home delivery in Senegal and worldwide. The boutique offers a wide array of western brands but also our own db collection which is an eclectic mix of western clothing with an african touch and vintage accents for the fashion forward, sophisticated and avant garde shopper. Key items such as handmade leather bags, crocodile skin handmade shoes and traditional african fabrics or accents often come temper with an otherwise modern minimalistic westerm style to create a warm vintage, exotic, foreign yet relatable look.

From a branding and marketting standpoint, the company targets all income classes with prices ranging from $10 for make-up to $3000 dollars for Yves Saint Laurent bags. The website and facebook page were designed to evoque a mood of luxury and exclusivity while providing a colorful escape that inspires our clients. We will attempt to provide them the best shopping experience in the country with a great customer service and home deliveries through our 'James Bond' service represented by a multi-lingual driver with unmatched elegance in a vintage mercedes.
Ultimately we want our clients to feel like royalty when shopping with us.

Finally, the company is linked to a non-profit foundation dedicated to the education of under-priviledged children worldwide and especially talibes in Senegal.
