The fabulous American designer Zac Posen, who as a child would steal yarmulkes (a hemispherical or platter-shaped cap) from his grandparents' synagogue to make ball dresses for dolls, is continuing his love for designing as he embarks on a new bridal collection 'Truly Zac Posen'. The collection features the designer's feminine aesthetic style that has become a favorite to many A-list Celebrities! You can look forward to his new bridal line 'Truly Zac Posen' at Davids Bridal, launching in February 2014! So ladies next year is the year to get married!

With six ivory style gowns that will range in prices from $850 - $1,350, this collection is sure to get a lot of attention! "A great deal of care and love goes in there, I wanted to try that on something that was going to have a lot of reach," he told USA Today. He is also going to have five social occasion dresses, that will range in neutral colors with only one with violet threading and a silvery variegated pattern, these will go for $195 to $225. Not too shabby!

What really is so special about this collection is that the line will be available in many sizes! Zac Posen is rising to the needs and wants of women of all shapes and sizes! Sizes will range from size 0 all the way up to size 14 off the rack! That isn't all either, if you special order you can order sizes 16-26! This is a designer who sees the diversity in woman and doing something about it! He told USA Today, "I have such a wide fan base and audience base and diverse base, I wanted to find a place where I could actually address them and dress them."
Posen and David's Bridal's chief marketing officer, Brian Beitler, have a little different view on what the 'Truly Zac Posen' girl might be. Beitler believes the Truly Zac Posen "girl might be. She's unafraid to take risks." Posen isn't so much feeling that, but says to USA Today, "I don't necessarily feel the dresses are risky. There's a romantic classicism to them with a va-va-va-voom quality. Smashing from the side, stunning from the front and elegant from the back." Sounds striking!
The goal for Posen is to showcase his elaborately constructed line with hopes it will draw in the brides planning country, suburban or city weddings. Zac Posen is completely hands on with this project and we can't wait to see the full results of his and his crews hard work!
