Would I Buy Expensive Clothing If I Could?

First let me start right out of the gate and answer this question. The answer is YES, I probably would buy expensive clothing if I could adequately afford to do so... However, I think that I would have to be filthy rich to the point that I literally did not know what to do with all of my money. In all honesty, I am often amazed by the price point of certain items. For example, I was recently browsing the Bloomingdales website (a place I would love to shop if I could afford to). The first section that I went to was the men's dress shirts category. Actually, it was the first and last section I viewed. After viewing the prices on the first page, I simply became depressed with my own income level and left the site in tears... Their was a shirt from Salvatore Ferragamo that was priced at $370. It is a striped dress shirt (as you can see from the attached image). The vertical stripe dress shirt is featuring slightly textured stripes and Gancini mother of pearl symbol at barrel cuffs. It is made in 100% cotton. Although the shirt is stunning, I would have a hard time spending $370. for a single shirt. Unfortunately, my wind instantly moves to my estimates of how much a shirt like this would cost to manufacture. It pains me to pay retail when having a minor understanding of the profit margin on the shirt. Maybe if I was beyond rich, I would not think so much and simply purchase an enjoyable shirt... This is not to say a Salvatore Ferragamo shirt is not worth that much money. I am only saying that if solid gold buttons are not attached, I am not spending that much... Learn more about Salvatore Ferragamo. Taking into account fabric cost, trim cost, detailing etc., is any one dress shirt worth almost $400.? Can't I buy a lap top for nearly this much??? Again, I would love to shop at Bloomingdales and purchase Salvatore Ferragamo. I am actually sad that I can not... You are welcome to list your thoughts in the comment section below. Do you pay in the range of $400. for a single shirt?
