Prince William and his long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton, who are rumoured planning to tie the knot in 2012, have reportedly hired a wedding planner.According to reports, the couple — who have dated for around eight years — retained the services of wedding and event consultant Sarah Sienesi.The Daily Telegraph said that Sarah has been appointed as a lady-in-waiting to the Countess of Wessex.Sarah was quoted saying: "It's no longer seen as lazy or extravagant to hire someone to help you organise your wedding."People get their groceries delivered at home and employ cleaners, so why not have someone with insider knowledge do your groundwork on the big day?"A Christmas engagement has also been predicted for William and Kate, after Buckingham Palace warned it could take legal action against paparazzi photographers. The pair will marry in 2012 to coincide with Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, it has been claimed.A source said: "Nothing is set in stone but 2012 is the date that is now being talked about. The Queen has said she doesn't want to be overburdened in the year of her jubilee.
