Syndee and I went LIVE on Iconici Radio for a special Sunday show 8/5/12! Every week we each choose someone who inspires us in some way! This week I chose the very handsome and talented Will Smith!

Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince was born September 25th, 1968 in Philiadelphia. He is currently an actor, producer, and rapper. He is definitely one of my favorite actors! He can play so many roles and he plays them well! In 2007 Newsweek called him the most powerful actor in Hollywood!

Smith started out in 1985-1995 as the MC for the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince! They came out with a few very popular hits "Parents Just Don't Understand" and "Summertime"! They ended up winning the first Grammy awarded in the Rap category in 1988. DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will were childhood friends and even today seem to be very close. They are pairing up once again and remaking "Summertime"!

He began his acting career in 1990 in the sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", and his first major roles were in "Six Degrees of Separation" and "Bad Boys" in which he starred with Martin Lawrence! He has since then starred in so many movies and plays many different roles! My favorite movies with him are "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "Hitch", just to name a couple!

Will Smith is the only actor to have eight consecutive films that have grossed over 100 million and is the only actor to have eight consecutive films where he starred open at the number one spot! Not to mention the numerous awards he has been nominated for and won! He is a true inspiration for lots of people!

I chose Will Smith for many reasons. He is an amazing actor and rapper! He seems to have such a positive outlook on life and success and that inspires me to be the same! His accomplishments are amazing and that by it's self shows his drive to be the best! His influence drives me to be the best and never give up!
