You've been invited to a business dinner and you're not sure
what to wear. You may leave directly from the office, or arrive by airplane. Either way, you need to be prepared.
Whether your office is a business or business casual environment, always
dress professionally. If your company is conservative, opt for the tailored suit and a
vintage inspired blouson. You can add color (
and fun) in your
shoes. Perhaps red heels. For business casual, same pants and top, drop the jacket and add a belted cardigan. If your company allows for a little creative interpretation, go for the
fishnet print skirt, cropped jacket and
studded booties. The
handbag is appropriate for all of the above scenarios.
Men, for a conservative work environment, stick with your suit and tie and
dress shoes. If your company is a bit more relaxed, go for color in your shirt and drop the tie. The charcoal gray pants look fantastic with this dark teal colored shirt. You can ease off the dress shoe and instead wear a
rubber soled oxford.
