To wear white? or not to wear white? That is the question...This time of year drums up the age old question all women around the U.S. ponder...is it ok to wear white after labor day? My answer in one word. YES! Go for it! This dated rule went out the window about the time women started burning their bras in protest. My advice when wearing white in the fall and winter would be to make sure the item is made from a fall/winter fabric and is lined. This means that the item should be a heavier fabric. Do not wear anything thing in white that is made from linen, denim, light weight cotton, nylon, poly jersey, or knit. When wearing white pants make sure they are lined. Be sure to mix your white clothing item with a deep color like berry or black. You can carry any shade of white purse just tie a fall colored scarf around the handle and you will create a great look. I would stay away from white shoes although it is not against the "rules" I just find that most white shoes are made for a spring/summer look. Be daring, be modern, and be careful to not show your panties and bra when wearing your winter white garments! Good luck!
