This jewellery line is designed to end your search for the perfect piece

Finding a jewellery line that manages to balance affordable and cool is not an easy feat. Throw in your need for practical, playful and classic pieces and you might find yourself wondering if you really can have it all in jewellery terms.

Well, Shelley Sanders, the designer behind direct to consumer, LA-based brand The Last Line proves you can have it all and then some when it comes to investing in your jewellery needs. Sanders’s spirited pieces range from sapphire studded daisies and golden safety pin earrings to silk string best friend bracelets complete with rubies and yellow gold settings. Kim Kardashian West has several pieces including a ‘Kanye’ name plate earring and toxic green tennis necklace, while Jennifer Lawrence has been spotted in a diamond encrusted horn. Though Sanders admits celebrity fans are “just one piece of the puzzle” in terms of building the brand.

For Sanders, who spent the majority of her career working for celebrity jewellery lines and high-end jewellery houses, it was clear where the brand would build itself, a niche that was simple to the designer and easy to fill.

“When surveying the market it felt polarising in both design and price—there were two distinct buckets: reasonably priced, not-so-great design or awesome design and quality, with a steep price with nothing in the middle,” Sanders notes of beginning The Last Line — a name she hopes reflects the end of disappointment for her clients – with her husband and CEO, Teddy.
