The Village Green

That's So New York - For those of you who are unaware (which I presume the majority of you may be)The Village Green is an up-and-coming London-based brand which I discovered whilst having a flick through Topman on the hunt for a preppy blazer to tide me over this Summer, and yes girls, I know you may be thinking "god, not another Topman related post" yet I can assure you that despite the fact that in this post I will be focusing on the Men's side of the label, shockingly enough The Village Green also have a preppy selection of vintage-inspired wear retailing via their ASOS Boutique. I'm afraid to say that yes this post will be another "girls should wear boys clothes" post as I will be rambling on about the Men's side of the label which retails via Topman and how each garment could and would be suitable for both the male and female demographic, especially if you're one of them indie-types who couldn't think of anything better than throwing on your boyfriends blazer or chunky sweater.

Secondly, if you're a fan of simplicty yet could never say no to a dash of color, then again, The Village Green would be perfect (throughout their selection of canvas shirts, blazers and shorts at least.)

The blazer is quite clearly perfect for the guys and girls, if you're looking to throw this piece on, I would .. (Continue Reading)
