The ultimate must-have winter list

With the season changing and the air becoming colder and nippy, it is time to change our wardrobe as well. The best part about season change in the fashion world is that it helps to break the monotony of our choices in clothes. After a while, sleeveless jumpers and frocks can get boring and you find yourself wishing for beautiful sweaters and colourful scarves.

Hence, with this happiness and expectations, we welcome the change in the season in all its glory. The air can get chilly, the sun can get less fearsome, and the gardens can get more inviting. They have our permission. In fact, I'm sure many of us are longing to just sit cosy in a blanket near the fire in oversized hoodies. Worry not, dear dreamers! Winters are here and they're here to stay.

With this season it is also important to know and understand how to prep our wardrobe. No longer can we be gallivanting in skimpy shirts and shorts. Loafers and sandals will also no longer do. You might want to check out Rosso Brunello for beautiful closed shoes for men & women that will go wonderfully with those winter pants hanging in your closet.

Just to help you prepare for the arrival of this blessed season, we have put together a winter must-have list for your wardrobe.

1. Sweaters

Needless to say, one must always have a plenty of sweaters. More than jackets, you should be well-stocked with sweaters as they go with everything and almost everywhere. They can be casual, formal, fancy or simply fun. In different shapes and sizes, colours and lengths, they're a delight to wear wherever you go. You can even choose the texture that suits you best. Nowadays, there are so many versions of sweaters. They come in all styles, whether it is poncho or sweatshirt or even crop sweaters.

2. Shoes

The kind of shoes that work best with winter clothes is mocassins for men and lace-up shoes when it comes to fancy outings. Shoes make a lot of difference to your outfit and hence it is wise to give some time to the decision when buying shoes. Other shoes in winters are the motley of boots. Whether they are knee-length, or ankle length, they work best with winter clothes, making the whole outfit look chic and posh.

3. Mufflers

Never underestimate the power of mufflers when prepping for winters. A beautiful and colourful muffler of your choice can completely change the look of a mono-toned sweater. If worn with plain black, green and blue sweaters, colourful mufflers give a vibrant personality to the entire outfit. Plus, they're really warm and will keep you comfy in the face of the nippy winter winds.

4. Beanies and hats

Another fashion statement that can be worked with in winters are beanies. Personally, I love beanies. Whether it is beanies or other hats like ushanka, kromer's hat, or the fur felt fedora, they work exceptionally well with outfits.

Gone are the days of sweaty summers, and it is time to usher in the wonderful winters. Time for afternoon brunches, picnics and comfy bonfires, guys!
