If you are a busy girl, who want to look chic, but don’t have enough time for deciding the dress every morning, here’s a compiled list of trendy dresses you can gaze upon.

Trapeze Dress

Trapeze is one of the most comfortable and classy dress that hangs free right from the shoulders to the hips or below hips. Also, the dress doesn’t have any waistline, and thus they are worn as it is. Wear it with or without a belt and slay the casual look. Trapeze comes in both long as well as short sleeves, so pick the one as per your comfort.

Where to wear:  Also called as tent or trapeze, this dress is a big No for high-class dinners. However, trapeze in linen or denim fabric can be worn for the dinners or cocktail parties.  Pair with ankle boots or heels, with a clutch or structured bag to complete the look.

Where to wear: A-line dresses are for all occasion, be it a cocktail party, weddings or any other things. Pair it with heels and a clutch, and you are good to go. 


An evening gown is more of a formal dress that usually features off shoulders or strapless bodice with a skirt flowing down. The common fabrics used for the ball gowns are silk, satin, taffeta and velvet.

Where to wear:  Save this elegant dress for high society parties, VIP weddings, or prom nights. A dress like this looks good with accessories like elbow-length gloves, statement jewellery and classy up-dos.

Bodycon Dress

Tight fitting, flattering and figure-hugging dress is what a bodycon is. These dresses are usually made of lycra and polyester making the elasticity to hug your figure comfortably.

Where to wear:  : For the occasions that need little glamour, these dresses are perfect. They are perfect for after-work parties, clubs and other occasions.

Maxi Dress

These dresses are nothing but the long dress that touches the ground and is perfect for the women who don’t want to expose their legs. However, it comes in strapless and bodycon style too.

Where to wear: For the garden weddings, beach parties and brunches, a pretty maxi dress is perfect.
