NEMG launched “TexereSilk,” the line of hand painted silk apparel and accessories in 2007 and was one of the first few members of ‘fashionindustrynetwork.com.’ They both came of age together. A lot of water has flown under the bridges since then. It is heartening to see both grow from fledglings to fully grown, solid entities. NEMG (TexereSilk) has grown from a minuscule retail small operation in 2007 to a multimillion dollar apparel company.
During the last few years, Bamboo and Cotton were added to the fabrics of our choice and our bamboo robes became an instant hit. People now relate to Texere as not only the hand painted silk apparel brand but also the choicest bamboo apparel.
We have expanded the line from silk sleepwear for women and men, to bamboo sleepwear, sportswear and leisure wear. Silk pillow cases and silk boxers and bamboo robes for men and women have become hot favorites and there is a buzz about how comfy the bamboo under garments and how elegant the bamboo polo-shirts are.
We have grown from a two people company to having employees spread over two continents. The design department based in Berlin Connecticut is producing creative designs eye catching patterns that Texere clients love.
We will be adding a whole host of new products including organic cotton bedroom and bathroom linen to the line in 2014 and we wish “fashionindustrynetwork.com” and our member friends the very best this holiday season and for the New Year.
