Makeup may seem like such a great deal especially when you are new to it. But it is actually very easy to get that flawless look once you get used to the idea of applying makeup everyday. Step 1: Prepping your face

Choosing a brush or a sponge is completely up to you. There are so many kinds of brushes to choose from. Choose one that makes it easy for you to blend the product into your skin.

Step 5: Using the products

Use the products that I have listed one after the other. Use the right tool for each of them when you use them. Following these tips will make it easy for you:

• Let your skin breathe between each product application.
• Even if you are in a hurry, make sure you have blended each product really well.
• The trick is to make yourself appear natural. So don’t make it too obvious you are wearing too much makeup. Unless that’s the look you are going for. In which case, go all the way and do the dramatic eye.
• Choose a foundation that matches your skin tone perfectly. Choosing one that is lighter than your skin tone will not make you look fairer. But this will cause the foundation to not match perfectly with your skin and appear patchy.
• This applies to lipsticks also. With so many brands that claim to make the best lipsticks in India, you need to choose a brand and a shade that suits you the best. For this try on the lipstick on your lips itself and not on your hand. Do this hygienically at the store by rubbing the bullet with a tissue before and after your application. And using a q-tip to apply the lipstick.
