Spring Summer 09 Collection

My Spring Summer collection is a dress driven one.
The dresses are inspired by the work of Madam Gres and 1920's fashion, the 1950's silhouette of a big- draped back, Japanese jewelery and the A -symmetric cut.
While working on the collection I continued to explore the dialogue between front and back in a garment: keeping the front plain, simple and there for easy to wear. While designing the back with details and volume, and by that creating a surprise effect.
The collection was photographed by the American photographer Adrien Broom, who presented the photos in an exhibition at the Danie Bridsall Gallery, USA.
