Spring 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is around the corner. Are you ready?

As in the past, Getty Images will be rocking the role as the official photo agency. Same drill as seasons before – Getty Images will have a crew of veteran photographers on site to capture every moment of this notoriously fabulous New York week.

Jamie McCarthy started as a celebrity photographer at the age of 21 and quickly acquired a large stable of clients within the music, fashion, nightlife and young Hollywood scene, now, with 16 years of experience under his belt. Style Network’s Full Frontal Fashion television crew profiled McCarthy during New York Fashion Week to feature his style of non-evasive, celebrity-friendly photography.

 

Frazer Harrison has worked as a professional photographer for over 25 years. Prior to working in the US, Frazer worked in England as a photo journalist covering hard news, sports, and regional/national events. He’s been shooting professionally in the United States for the past eleven years. You’ll find Frazer at the hottest red carpet events, camera in hand, capturing those special celebrity moments - images of the biggest names in fashion, entertainment and music. As an entertainment photographer he’s shot the “Who’s Who” of Tinsel Town and every A-list celebrity you could possibly imagine, including Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron and hundreds of Hollywood’s most recognizable names. Frazer works the major movie premieres and other Hollywood events like the Oscars, Golden Globes, New York Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week and the Sundance Film Festival. He has covered celebrity weddings, births and portraits making him one of the most versatile and experienced photographers in the business today. Larry Busacca - For over 20 years Larry Busacca has been a leading entertainment photographer on the New York and Los Angeles celebrity scene. He has captured images of the rich, famous, and not yet rich or famous, in portraits and candids on location and in the studio. Larry is a jack of all trades and can speak on a variety of topics. He was previously the photographer assigned to shadow Anna Wintour during the inaugural Fashion’s Night Out. He has also been instrumental on the planning of the past year’s Fashion’s Night Out.

Andrew Walker has been a celebrity, fashion photographer and portraitist for 11 years. Walker has photographed the best of the runway, parties and backstage happenings at New York’s Fashion Week for the past five years, in addition to some of the world’s most high profile red carpet galas, music awards shows and film festivals.

Michael Loccisano – A versatile photographer, Michael Loccisano is known for his ability to capture intimate shots regardless of the circumstances including red carpet arrivals, editorial assignments, press events, private functions, concerts, and studio portrait sessions. On a personal note, his warm disposition coupled with his professionalism have quickly made him a highly sought after photographer among PR companies, high-end retailers, fashion designers, networks and record labels. While not working, Michael can often be found with one of his "special" cameras around his neck, "moving through the world, taking pictures," and is a big believer in film photography. He "sees colors, as music running through his veins, and loves the potential of a piece of paper." Loccisano’s work has repeatedly appeared in the Daily News, New York Post, Wall Street Journal, People, Us Weekly, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Nylon, just to name a few.

Mike Coppola joined Getty Images as its newest Entertainment Staff Photographer in New York on January 4, 2011. Mike has proven to be a talented and enthusiastic freelancer for FilmMagic, Getty Images and WireImage over the past two years. During the past years at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, he served as Getty’s house photographer for the American Express Skybox. Earlier in his career Mike was a Senior Account Executive at Canon.

Astrid Stawiarz, a native New Yorker, constantly energized by the diversity of her great city is a self-taught photographer. She is a favorite of celebrities who adore her positive manner and a highly sought-after fashion week photo journalist for her honest, immediate and personal perspectives on the increasingly commercial trends of style and design. Her unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable, special, and appreciated has earned her the trust and confidence of some of America’s most prestigious newspapers and photo-journals - including her regular work for the Wall Street Journal and the The New York Post.

Mark Von Holden - For over eleven years Mark has been a New York-based editorial portrait and entertainment event photographer. He has photographed over 20 Fashion Week seasons in New York and has worked for numerous fashion houses and beauty lines over the years. Mark earns his clients' trust and respect by injecting tailored creativity into his body of work, while always maintaining quality above all for his many varied assignments and commercial work each day.
