Shopper feedback for my new website

Hi.

I am a recent addition to the FIN community and I have to say that I am impressed. I have received a warm welcome from both the users and the administrators.

The reason for my blog post is to ask for help and advice from the perspective of an avid shopper (or consumer if you want to be technical about it). I am asking for help as one of the co-founder of a new project, ShareYourDiscount.com.

To give you a quick background; it is a free place to buy, sell, and share discounted products. We created the website about two months ago with the intention of helping sellers and buyers in a down economy. The way we look at it, if people can create a profile for their shopping interests, connect with others, and either buy or sell a discounted products, then they are doing something on a much larger level to help their pockets.

Now that you've heard my say, I'll end on two notes; one, thank you for making me feel so welcome in the FIN community, and two, I look forward to any and all constructive feedback on our concept and design.

This is not a bad idea- I was just fooling around with the site, trying to register and upload a "post"- but this is the bug I found when I tried submitting the post: Column 'user_id' cannot be null

Is there anyway that you can incorporate a screenshot to let new users see what your "buy/sell" platform looks like? Because right now, even after reading the FAQ, I have trouble visualizing what your site looks like AFTER I become a user.

I'm so embarrassed! I just fixed that bug. I was messing around with something on there this morning and I must have forgotten to put something back in place. It is all okay now, so please feel free to give us a second glance when you have a second. You can just login as your account is set up.

As far as the screen shots, can you let me know your feeling about that after you see what it looks like once you login... keep in mind after you login, this is also the same page you would see after making your first post.
