Orange, green, blue, red...... SHIATZY CHEN recently celebrated its 35th anniversary and what better way to celebrate it than with its splendid collection full of vibrant colors and rich in fabric textures themed "Richness and Colors," exuding prosperity and auspiciousness featured on the runway at Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013 in one of the Paris landmarks, the Grand Palais. With the tailored silhouettes of Chinese Tang Dynasty attire (a golden period in Chinese history), hand painted short qipao dresses conveying the motif of the beautiful movement of a Tang Dynasty woman playing polo, exquisite Chinese Su embroidery, and essential Chinese elements such as Mandarin collars and fabric buttons, Shiatzy Chen once again demonstrated the perfect blend of Chinese traditional culture elements and modern design.
