As the 2014 Etihad Airways Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix returns this year as the UAE’s biggest event and standout sporting event of the year, the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi will be hosting the first ever “F1 Fashion Fever 2014” in partnership with the UK’s leading premium department store House of Fraser. This event is scheduled to take place on 21 November 2014, 7:30pm, at the Plaza Bar, North Beach.

‘F1 Fashion Fever – Empowering Women Through Sports’ will be a fashion and beauty extravaganza, centred around an exclusive fashion show that will showcase a variety of must-see outfits for women and children to wear at a sporting event and other special occasions, featuring unique collections from House of Fraser as well as locally and internationally acclaimed designers. In addition, there will be a special prize for the best sporty and elegant outfit, and the winner will receive a AED 10,000 gift voucher from Maison Hala plus “The Indulgence of Time” spa treatment package at CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La. There will also be a subcategory for ‘Best Shoes’, with a specially handmade scarf or neck piece by Marion Murphy Cooney for the winner.

Besides the fashion show, House of Fraser's Armani beauty will be hosting a makeup station at the event to offer beauty consultations and touch ups to the attendees. Also, there will be a photo wall on display, where guests can capture their F1 fashionista experience on camera. A vibrant MC will introduce the evening’s events and a DJ will set the mood with an eclectic mix of tracks, while guests enjoy canapes and the pleasant weather.
