School and education are the fundamental attributes both in the ancient and modern society. The rationale is based on the fact that a school is a place or a building utilized by people who are interested in knowing more about what they either do not know or what they already know. On the other hand, education is the aspect of learning or being taught certain skills that one is unaware of. The current paper tends to bring out the changes that are being initiated in the field of education and school by technological point of view.

How education is different from the previous decades

On the matters associated with school, most of the learning is taking place out of the classroom on the basis of technology. The manner, in which education is being conducted, is different when compared with how it was initially undertaken. For example, the issue of school versus education. Schools are being redefined on the aspect of using the internet to implement the learning process. Skype and video conferences are being utilized to ensure that education is initiated with ease and comfort. The approach being undertaken is totally different when compared to how it was done earlier. It has to be noted that education was being initiated in the classroom on a face-to-face platform. Thus, the changing strides are apparently impacting both schools and education. The rationale for my perspective implies the matters associated with education when new subjects are being introduced to counter the new form of school structure.

How technological change impacts learning

Technology has contributed to what is now referred to as modern schools and consecutive education. Technology has led to building of modern schools/classrooms that have modern labs, WiFi for browsing the internet, and laptops meant to keep notes for students. Furthermore, technology has led to a modern form of education whereby learning can be initiated from the comfort of one’s home or office through the above-mentioned gadgets, i.e. Skype and video conferencing. Technology is making the areas of education and school a fun place to participate. Technology is ensuring that the human cost of illiterate society is of a positive perspective. The initiation here is that the presence of technology is ensuring that more people get to learn to counter illiteracy within the society. The change in technology has apparently changed learning to be regarded as modernized and effective due to its nature to reduce illiteracy.

Is technology making education easier?

Technology is making education easier due to the use of the internet and the available platforms. It has to be noted that with technology, learning materials, such as books, websites, and articles, can be easily attained from the internet as opposed to how learning was undertaken decades earlier. Initially, one had to go to the library to get hold of hard copies of books to read. However, with technology, such books can be bought from Amazon for reference purposes. The fact that technology has ensured the possibility of buying books online as opposed to going to the library to borrow, it can be concluded that technology has made the learning process easier.

Is technology making learning difficult?

Technology does not make learning difficult. The reason is based on the fact that with the modern means of attaining reference materials online, learning has become easier. Learning can easily be conducted from a student’s and tutor’s comfort zone. Due to technology, a tutor can teach students from different countries or continents through Skype. The approach being generated by technology in education indicates that major entities have been modified. The existence of technology in the modern education sector indicates that learning has been made easier for the students and tutors respectively.

New skills that were not required previously

In the modern education, learning has apparently changed due to the introduction of technology. Certain skills needed in the modern way of learning include computer skills which were initially not required. The presence of computer skills is needed since most of the learning often takes place using a computer. Having computer skills indicates that a person is capable of comprehending with the modern way of learning. Furthermore, urgent and well-planned research is often initiated on the computer for accuracy and neatness when presenting documents. Computer skills are required since they help one to effectively store their documents on the computer for future reference as opposed to the use of hard copies which can be easily destroyed. For example, when one needs to print handouts or save documents on the laptop, he or she needs to be literate on matters associated with the computer. The reason is based on the fact that the approach indicates that modernity is being impressed both in the education and school point of view.

In conclusion, this movie critique paper has shown that education and schools are both changing due to technology. The changes being made are appropriated since more people are getting the needed know-how. Literacy is apparently countering the previously encountered problems associated with learning. Nowadays, learning can take place via Skype and in the comfort of a person’s home, hence, saving on cost and time. Furthermore, issues associated with referencing and saving documents for future use can easily be initiated in the modern society. Therefore, technology has contributed positively to education and learning environment on the basis of modernity.
