Sarah Paulson is presumably having a very joyous holiday season. She’s nominated for a Golden Globe for her role on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, gets to spend most of her working hours with Rihanna while filming Ocean’s Eight, and gets to wear the sparkliest of marieprom dresses when she goes on talk shows. While visiting Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday to discuss her new life with Rihanna and her extreme fear of flying, Paulson wore an ankle-length, pink and red Dolce & Gabbana dress covered in head-to-toe sequins and a pair of red patent pumps. She shined like everything from a bedazzled tree-topper to a Valentine’s Day-themed disco ball in all the best ways.
Paulson is certainly no stranger to sequins. Her end-of-year talk-show look was the perfect complement to the green Prada gown she wore to the Emmys, where she took home the award for outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie. The floor-length emerald gown was a standout of not only the night, but the entire year, making its mark on a number of best-dressed lists (including our own). Here’s hoping Paulson keeps the sparkle coming into 2017, and may we all be inspired to glitter in the same way during the festive season.
