Majority of the staff at Texas Renaissance Festival stays in character & many employed costumed folk add to the overall feel with their period language speech. This year’s Texas Renaissance Festival was held from 6th of February to 21th of March near Apache Junction, featuring over two to three thousand brightly costumed actors, dancers, musicians, comedians, jugglers and the like. There were more than two hundred ornately decorated shops, which were offering a wide range of goods. The festival turned the part of the Texas into a 16th century European village. It was a great combination for music, street performance, renaissance clothing, pirate shirts, medieval clothing shopping, comedy and feats of adventure.
