The Arizona Renaissance Festival is held in16th Century English village. Renaissance sights, sounds, and beauty of the 16th Century come alive as talented artisans & actors come together to honour King Henry VIII and his queen, Catherine of Arizona.

Texas Renaissance Festival is the annual harvest festival with great food & top notch entertainment. Renaissance style shops & fireworks make it a perfect event for kids & adults alike. Entertainment includes Comedy & Juggling with Full Contact Jousting, Sword fighting & Acrobatics making it as Renaissance as it can be. The eight themed weekends include Oktoberfest, 1001 Dreams, Pirate Adventures, All Hallows Eve, Highland Fling, Barbarian Invasion and Celtic Christmas. Watch a blacksmith pounding away, or glassblowers creating works of art. There are tarot/palm readers, Celtic bands & massage therapists. They also offer a unique list of entertainment proved by their extensive show schedule.

Majority of the staff at Texas Renaissance Festival stays in character & many employed costumed folk add to the overall feel with their period language speech. Groups of barbarians, pirates and fairies, wander around, reminiscent of the 1500s. Spend the night camping under the stars and enjoy the day with diverse assortment of nourishment, shopping and entertainment specially thought for Renaissance Festival.

This year’s Texas Renaissance Festival was held from 6th of February to 21th of March near Apache Junction, featuring over two to three thousand brightly costumed actors, dancers, musicians, comedians, jugglers and the like. There were more than two hundred ornately decorated shops, which were offering a wide range of goods. The festival turned the part of the Texas into a 16th century European village. It was a great combination for music, street performance, renaissance clothing, pirate shirts, medieval clothing shopping, comedy and feats of adventure.
