Handloom has always been an integral part of the textile industry in India. For centuries, sarees have been women by hand. In the era when expensive machinery was not present, it was the handloom that provided women with the six yards. But with machines, things have changed. Sarees look perfect, and each motif is on point. There are not slight irregularities that were so characteristic of handloom saris. Things are perfect in a robotic manner. And to be honest, saris lack the warmth it once had.

Despite the slight irregularities, handloom sarees are still the best. In the 90s, the art of handloom saw its rock bottom. But after 2010, this art is being revived as women prefer Handloom Sarees over machine loom ones. Many types of sarees, like cotton, silk, linen, etc., look better when woven by hand. Believe it or not, handwoven saris have a different class than the machine weaved one's lack. Machine loom saris look superb. But handloom ones have a separate place, at least in my heart. So, without further ado, let's discuss the reasons Handloom saris are the best.

Handloom Sarees: A Part of the Indian Culture

India has always been a country that is known to the world for its heritage and culture. The handloom industry is a part of our heritage that is centuries old. It is because of this industry that Sari exists today. So, one reason to drape on a handloom saree is as a mark of respect to our heritage.

Handloom Sarees are Beautiful

All handloom sarees are beautiful. The handloom sarees are way richer in their texture and look superb on all women. Handloom sarees are super classy that render your silhouette with grace. If you don't believe be, wear a handloom saree yourself and see how compliments galore.

Handloom Saris are Versatile

There are many uses to a handloom sari. You can wear a handloom saree to an office as a formal outfit. Just wear a pair of studs on the ears, dab on nude lipstick, and you have a formal look. But you can also make them stand out on festive occasions. All you have to do is wear a pair of dandlers or a necklace with handloom cotton or silk saree. Then wear your favorite lipstick to make heads turn. You can wear these saris as traditional wear, or you can as well team one of these sarees up with a crop-top to flaunt an indo-western look. You can also wear a belt with it to flaunt a fusion look. Handloom saris are versatile in all sense of the term!

Handloom Saris Suits All Woman

Irrespective of your age, weight, height, or skin color, a sari will suit all. Drape on a handwoven cotton saree or a hand-loomed silk saree and see yourself in awe while standing in front of the mirror. A saree brings out the oomph factor in every woman and makes her feel more feminine and beautiful than ever.

Handloom Saris are Warm and Unique

In the handloom industry, each sari differs from the other. They are not mass-manufactured but are instead woven with care and a lot of caution.

The human touch and warmth that each handloom saree makes it unique. Often you would find a few irregularities in these saris, but that increases its beauty. Handloom saris exude the love and warmth of the human heart. These components are unmatchable by any other method of weaving a sari.
