Production Trends In Todays Economy

Hello EveryoneWe're seeing a trend with our clients to a more "as needed" type of production schedule. The state of the economy is forcing people to really evaluate their finances and having less product sitting on shelves frees up a lot of capital for other investments. The problem is that there is a much bigger risk of running out of inventory. Apparel Solutions Inc. has adjusted well to this new strategy and it has become quite proficient at fulfilling lower volume orders with a minimal turn around time of typically no more than 7-10 business days. Please contact me at Alfredo@ApparelSolutionsInc.com with questions and or concerns we may be able to help out with. Here is a quote from Womens Wear Daily from Mr. McMahon which is in line with the trend we're seeing:Glenn McMahon, Chief Executive Officer of St. John said, "The flip side of the coin is that the company is cutting inventories wherever possible. We manufacture to order, so we keep a tight reign on the raw materials we order. Maintaining inventory is Key."In Womens Wear Daily Monday November 24th 2008
