Popular dishes served at Christmas feast

Christmas is celebrated in different ways in various parts of the world. In Mexico, people participate in the final Posada on the Christmas eve and then enjoy their Christmas meal in the evening. In Philippines, Christians go to the Church to hear the last Simbang Gabi which is followed by a midnight feast. In France, people enjoy the main Christmas meal on Christmas eve. The meal is eaten after people return from the midnight Church service.

There are different Christmas dishes that are eaten and enjoyed on Christmas across the world. In Canada, the traditional food items that are associated with Christmas are Christmas pudding, Eggnog, fruitcake, gingerbread, roasted turkey, mince pie, apple cider, butter tarts and candy canes. In France, oysters, smoked salmon, crepes, chapon, foie gras, and chestnut-stuffed turkey is commonly eaten during the Christmas feast. In Mexico, the Christmas meal includes pavo which the stuffed, roasted turkey served with gravy, Russian potato salad, bacalao, Romeritos, Tamales, and Pineapple upside down cake.

Like food menu, there are different Christmas floral gifts that are exchanged in various parts of the world. From poinsettias to Anemone Coronaria to Christmas roses and Hippeastrum, there are specific flowers that people to each other to spread joy and happiness on this important day.
