Paris Fashion Week kicked off this week and once again gathers some of the best designers and most famous brands in the world, along with internationally recognized editors, stylists and bloggers. More than seventy shows are organized in less than ten days and we are going to share with you the best fashion moments, front rows and upcoming trends that will soon invade our wardrobes.

Veronique Branquinho presented a structured collection in which wooden jewelry worn on both arms played the main role and lit up classic looks composed of knee length beige and ochre coats, fur dresses, and shiny silky slim pants. Cuban heel coats gave a cowgirl touch the collection, while leopard fur was used on a jacket and teamed with black straight pants and heels.

Alexander Wang’s debut at Balenciaga was surely one of the most expected events of the week and the young designer proved he was capable of handling the challenge, with a collection that subtly took the house’s codes into a more contemporary era, with marble prints on cocoon coats, cut-out pants and petal skirts that combined elegance and modernity.

Alber Elbaz’s new collection for Lanvin mixed day and evening wear most of the times on the same looks: chiffon dresses worn with flat brogues, navy pencil skirts with voluptuous blouses and fur on scarves or coats for a chic and glamorous look.

When it comes to the award of the best party of the week, it’s undeniably H&M that gets the trophy, such as the event organized in the gardens of the Musee Rodin, under the tent transformed into a stunning 12 bedrooms2 luxury apartment, was impressive. Lindsey Wixson and Cara Delevingne were among the top models who catwalked around the venue, dressed in black suede caps, leather high boots military coats and sharply cut quilted jackets for a sexy and feminine look.

Revealing without showing too much was Barbara Bui’s challenge and she succeeded at proposing elegant and daring pieces such as lace see-through tops, subtly mixed with understated pieces which enable balanced looks. Shiny plastics and leathers were used on skirts and tailored jackets, giving textures to the plainer looks: the perfect recipe.

Smiling models are rare in fashion shows, and this is surely why everyone was surprised when Issey Miyake’s show started. Ireland and Scotland inspired the designer and prints were graphics and used on colorful shirts and pants in tones of green, purple, red and mustard, as well as wool coats and bohemian large pants.

Anne-Valerie Hash dared mixing chic and sportswear codes and featured delicate black and white lace pieces teamed with sneakers: a look active and professional women will surely love.

Vanessa Bruno also featured working women looks, with large woolen suits, white shirts and straight skirts, before moving towards more romantic and feminine pieces which featured visible shiny zippers and leather details on coats.
