365 Days of Sewing is hosting a special preview of a debut line of wedding dress, designed by newcomer, Olivia Brouwer of Tennessee. Brouwer began sewing dresses for her Barbie dolls when she was four-years-old. Now at the age of ten, she is excited to launch her first line of wedding dresses.

“I like sewing teddy bears and pillow and dresses, but now I am mainly working on wedding dresses,” said Brouwer.

Every day after school, Brouwer spends nearly every waking minute sewing, until bedtime that is. At bedtime, she sits in her bed with her needles and thread when she is supposed to be sleeping. That is when she does some of her best work. Brouwer is the daughter of Cindy Morgan Brouwer, an 11-time Dove Award nominated singer / songwriter.

“I remember when she was four. She asked me if she could make this sock into a dress for her doll. She came back a few minutes later with a perfectly fitted dress on her tiny doll,” said Cindy Brouwer.
