Back in 2008, the National Resources Defense Council took action by creating the Responsible Sourcing Initiative in China, with the support of major industry brands such as Wal-Mart, Levi's, Gap, H&M, and Nike. The initiative laid out the 10 best practices to reduce theenvironmental effects from the numerous textile factories.
