New York Fashion 2.0 Meetup: PR and New Media

The PR industry is forced to adopt new digital media strategies in the fast changing web landscape, where bloggers and independent online publishers rule. In addition to the challenge of identifying the right targets, tactics developed through years for magazines and traditional media, don't always apply within the online space.

This panel will bring together PR forces behind the fashion industry, both traditional and digital media focused, to share their lessons and provide the insight on the future shaping of the online PR industry and its relations with the online media.

In a true web 2.0 fashion, the discussion will be streamed live via http://www.mogulus.com, allowing users participation.

Speakers:

Christine Perkett - Founder/CEO at PerkettPR

Orli Sharaby - Social Marketing Strategist at 360i, fashion blogger at PSFK

Alyson Campbell - Partner Publicist at AMP3 Public Relations– a boutique lifestyle PR agency.

Moderator: Yuli Ziv, co-founder & EIC at My It Things

MIXX lounge will be hosting us exclusively, and offering happy hour special for drinks!

Tuesday, January 13th 2009. Visit the meetup page for more details! Hope to see you there!
