Listen. I love a great sweater prom dress shops. Even more so when I pair it with a killer pair of boots! When I was invited to play in a few fall looks from Kohl’s plus size fashion options, I knew that I would be in good hands! I mean, over this year, I have had my eyes opened to the options that they carry for my plus size curves from activewear to denim to designer collaborations! So when they asked me to fashion another look for fall, I was all over it!
I found this Jennifer Lopez (I know, right? I am just as surprised as you!) grey sweater dress which is both on trend for color and cute as can be! I loved the fit and the double diagonal splits that play up the hips (or creates this illusion, right? Because I have no hips)! Not only was this dress extremely comfortable, for as fitted as it looks, it was not overly warm- making this the perfect transitional dress to take me into the winter season, comfortably… I am not a fan of being uncomfortably warm!
But I also have this pair of grey boots that I am going to see how a monochromatic gray look will work with this silhouette, but my dress? Heyyyy boo. This is what I am thinking in my head. I feel amazingly segzy and confident in this dress! Underneath, I have on a light slip shaper from Spanx! For me, it helps me feels a bit more confident about a curve hugging dress!
But with sweater dresses, I feel like boots are an immediate pairing… right? I would also add my trusted leather moto jacket, for some extra attitude! But the versatility and flexibility of a sweater dress allows you to go from day to night seamlessly, or for me at least!
Trust I will have at least 10 sweater dresses added to my fall and winter collection… it is a weird obsession! And to know that I can add Kohl’s plus size fashion to my list of places to shop and check for- Hello JLo!?! I know that I am going to be in good hands this fall!
