Modae SRL to distribute new collection of Rachel Stark-Cappelli

Obscene Jeans Corp. lead Designer Rachel Stark-Cappelli met with representatives of Modae SRL last week to secure Italian distribution for the company’s exciting new denim collection.

Based in Florence, Modae’s distribution group employs 10 agents throughout Italy to maximize sales for luxury fashion companies such as Orion London, Lipsy London, Almost Famous and Mute Watch. Stark-Cappelli presented Obscene Jeans’ new line to Modae Owner and Managing Director Salvio Rollo and three of the company’s top sales reps on Thursday for potential nationwide distribution.

“Modae SRL has a well-earned reputation for taking up-and-coming, trendy brands and developing them into huge sales successes in Italy,” Stark-Cappelli said. “They were very excited to see an American brand with a European flair and eye for detail. Based on the amazing feedback I received, I think Modae and Obscene Jeans are going to be a fantastic fit.”

Stark-Cappelli went on to note that Modae SLR is constantly being offered new and different fashion lines, making the selection process very exacting. However, she did confirm that Obscene Jeans may already have an advantage since all of Modae SRL’s agents servicing Italy’s various regions have evaluated and approved the company’s new collection.

“We’re planning to make four sample ranges for the top agents to launch sales in the stronger cities, such as Florence, Rome, Milan and Veneto,” said Stark-Cappelli. “The samples will be ready for Italy at the end of August, which coincides perfectly with their Spring/Summer 2012 sales campaign.”
