This vintage 70′s Missoni dress was the only thing I walked out of the thrift store with but I was walking on clouds… When I spotted this dress at first I loved the pattern & the neckline and then I had to lift up the paper price tag that was stapled on to see the label and you should have seen my eyes popping out the way they did. I was surprised they were able to return to my eye sockets. Its been so long since I discovered Missoni because this is a label you don’t see all the time in a thrift store esp Missoni from the 70′s. Family-run brand Missoni was launched in 1953 when Tai & Rosita Missoni began producing their signature crochet-knit designs. Now headed by daughter Angela, it continues to deliver exquisite collections with inimitable Italian flair. There is always an independent spirit at the heart of a Missoni collection so I’m dying to know what was going on back in the 70′s when they created this dress. It’s fantastic and flutters like a moth to a flame. There is nothing better than vintage esp vintage Missoni. Be STYLISH go green. Daniel your luxury curator!
