That's Hong Kong, nothing can stop the city from moving forward towards glamorous perfection and lavish luxury.

In the next day after a severe typhoon struck the city with gale-force winds and rain, Max Mara “flew” guests and fashion maniacs to the land of vanity and trend – Italy for an extraordinary fashion show and a compelling holographic presentation named “Fantastic Journey” combining fashion, art and technology to celebrate the opening of its 450 sq m duplex flagship store in Hong Kong. The star-studded MaxMara night dazzled Shaw Studios with celebrities and top models. So who would care about the dull grey storm moods yesterday?

Featuring the replica of the Fall/Winter 2012 Milan fashion show with the presence of supermodels Xiao Wen Ju (one of the five Chinese supermodels) and Lee Hye Jung on the runway, the fashion show at “Fantastic Journey” was one of a very few catwalk events held in Hong Kong which could catch up with international standards (I dare say).
