There is no better word than jaw-droppingly beautiful to describe the 34 outfits from Matthew Williamson Spring/Summer 2013 collection featured at London Fashion Week. The designer paid tribute to a religious spring festival in India, Holi, also known as a festival of colors where people throw colored scented powder and perfume at each other by loading the collection with bright prints and vivid colors, which exuded a sense of exoticism and the joy and vibrancy of springtime filled with colors. The flowy silhouette made with silk and chiffon inherited Matthew Williamson's ultra-feminine and elegant style. What's more, the eye-popping Indian beaded embellishment on the cocktail dresses was another design focus not to be missed. Matthew Williamson's signature use of rainbow colors and excellent craftsmanship never fail. Don't believe me? I suggest you flip through his design archive back to 1999.
