I didn’t know the first thing about Marcel Marongiu when I first spotted this gray textured top but just knew that I LOVED it and then of course I whipped out my iPhone and started my research. Marcel Marongiu is the creative director for Guy Laroche and I loveeeme some Guy Laroche any day of the week…. From what I’ve been able to gather about Marcel Marongiu is that he was born in Paris and studied in Stockholm. In 1988 he made his first collection and showed his catwalk show during the Paris Fashion Week in 1989 and I know that he has a fragrance and from what I could find I believe his last collection was in 2009/2010 . He started his job at Guy Laroche in 2008 so I’m thinking he might just be way to busy for his private label. This top is gorgeous and down right sinful but in the good way! I loved pairing it with this black classic Valentino skirt with pockets and I believe every skirt should have pockets on them. This is a simple chic look and yet timeless and that always has my vote. Keep keeping it ‘green’ from your luxury curator.
