Marc Jacobs blouse with vintage Genny skirt…

Sometimes I wonder if Marc Jacobs ever sleeps.  He has got to be one of the busiest fashion designer on the planet not just with the Marc Jacobs line but also for the ultra luxury French brand Louis Vuitton.  I wonder if he ever pinches himself and realizes just how much he has accomplished in his life, I hope so.  I always enjoy finding Marc Jacobs in a thrift store and finding this blouse was quite the treat.  I love the collar on this blouse and it plays nicely with this vintage red Genny skirt.  Genny is one of my favorite Italian luxury brands and in their heyday they were on par with Prada.  Gabriele Colangelo designed the Spring / Summer 2012 collection for the historical brand Genny, launched in the 60′s by Arnaldo Girombelli and designed between the 70′s and the 90′s by Gianni Versace.  I love the fact that Genny is back in action after a long hiatus because everything I found a Genny piece in a thrift store I always salvaged it because the construction of their clothes are exquisite.  Timeless & quality is what Genny stands for and this little red skirt just got a touch of the WOW factor when I put it with the Marc Jacobs top…  Friend me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter….be STYLISH go green.  Daniel your luxury curator!
