Male Models: Looking Back at the Past (Part 1 of a 5-part series)

Let me introduce you to the world of male models!

If you think Marcus Schenkenberg, Mark Vanderloo and Tyson Beckford are the most successful male models of all-time, then you're mistaken. They have been very successful, but there are others who have contributed more to fashion and male modeling. Some of them continued to work in the industry as designers, agents and photographers, and never allowed themselves to compromise their reputation as individuals. In other words, they did not accept jobs which basically made them "glorified" male escorts.

Long before the term 'supermodel' was used by agents and applied to male models as opposed to models (i.e. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford), there are already a few names who deserved the distinction and they are not the 3 models I've mentioned.

So, let us name names...

Joe Kloenne, Albert Delegue, Maximo Morrone, Alain Gossuin, Bryan Randall, Werner Schreyer, Cameron Alborzian, Enrique Palacios, Norbert Michalke, Atesh Salih and Gabriel Hill. They are not as famous as Marcus or Tyson Beckford but their work as models are more than testament to their impact in the modeling world.
