Have you ever heard the term Loungerie?  Well, I had not until earlier this week.  A writer that I work with had suggested the term Loungerie for a writing project.  I agreed, and requested her to assist me with creating an explanation for the term loungerie for my Apparel Search site.

Here is portion of the fashion term from Apparel Search:

"Loungerie is a relatively new fashion term (2010/2011) that defines lingerie-like apparel and underpinnings that were intended to remain inside the boudoir. Some fashion items that can be classified as loungerie include camisoles, slip dresses, garter tank tops, and lace-top stockings, which were originally designed to remain underneath it all."

Now, if someone asks you, "what is loungerie? ", you can give them an answer.
