I'm new to this site and looking for some advice from other fashion entrepreneurs.

I'm trying to start my own lingerie web site as serious, viable, sustainable business. I've done a lot of modeling over the years, mostly for lingerie and swimsuit catalogs, but there's a lot of competition here in Manhattan, and I'm not getting any younger. I've been studying sites like Victoria's Secret, Fredericks of Hollywood, Yandy, and HerRoom for ideas, but those sites are all huge and pretty overwhelming to try and duplicate.

I've selected a web designer, and she's got fashion industry experience, to help me build my site. I have a friend who is a photographer will be doing all the initial shoots for me for portfolio so I can save a lot of money that way, since I'm going to do all the modeling myself at first. I'm looking for suggestions on what it is on lingerie sites that people like. Two sites that I've gotten a lot of ideas from are Panties.com for sexy panties and TheLittleFlirt.com for sexy bras (the store is right down the street from me too, it's a really cool store in Greenwich Village). Both of them are more reasonable size-wise, and each has aspects that I want to replicate on my own site. They're very different from each other, but both have things I like about them.

If anyone has any other sites that they think are good for a one-woman operation to model herself after, please send them my way. I'm also seeking suggestions for a good domain name. Sexy and flirty but not sleazy. Any ideas? Thanks!
