Fashion has always been supposed to be worn for the personality they bring to your being, your character. "Attitude is everything,” according to top brass fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg, and that’s what you want to achieve by dressing up — whether that be dainty, edgy, ethereal, daring or, something else.

Your Style, Your Way

Following fashion trends, we must admit, makes you feel more upbeat and trendy pieces do update your style. However, when you allow fashion to dictate your personality, that’s when something is definitely off-beat. We like to state, “Dress for comfort” but, we like giving you the scoop on Spring 2017 fashion as well. What’s a stylish girl got to do but to amaze and be fab?

These are the top five Spring trends for you to wear, conquer, and own:

1. Latin-inspired summer dresses. Whatever your personality is, there’s definitely an outfit that suits your taste well which went sashaying down the Dolce and Gabbana runway. There were tailored dresses worn with brightly colored and embellished blazers, off-the-shoulder floral calf-length pieces, black lace dress with rose prints, full floral skirts, and European scenes printed on shift dresses. There’s so much inspiration on that show and hardly any outfit not to fall for.

Latin itself is laden with personality. Women are strong, sensual and sultry. Complete your look with ankle-strapped sandals, floral hair accessories, bandana tied to a bow on your head, heavily embellished sunglasses, and a structured bag.

2. Urban Safari look. Be relaxed, sophisticated and chic all at the same time, as you wear safari-inspired pieces off the runways of Ralph Lauren. Take note of the tribal prints that instantly add personality to your style. Recreate the RL looks in this collection by going for calf-length and maxi dresses with plunging necklines, fringes, kaftan cuts, and tribal inspired prints. Wear your trousers and jeans with polo shirts made with soft materials. Complete your safari look with a hat, and jungle-inspired accessories made of wood, metal and indigenous materials.

Elegantly wear your khaki pieces too by choosing to wear this trending color in soft fabrics like silk and cotton. Style it up like RL would. Wear you clogs and get a messenger bag in tan and wear across your chest. Don’t forget the hat because head accessories are big this season.

3. Resort-Style Maxi Dresses. When Spring and Summer come around, you want to be blooming like a blossoming flower too. That’s why it is the best time to be in a maxi dress. You kn0w how maxi dresses are always a big hit come summer. This season, the florals are a mainstay but, vibrantly colored stripes are also a big hit.

We can’t get over the jaw dropping pieces at the Elie Saab show, however. The designer showed us a fresh take on summer maxi dresses, her designs were made with metallic, electric pleated fabrics in both bright and pastel colors. These are investment pieces because the thigh-high slitted dresses are great for either a formal affair, a casual day out on a picnic or, a weekend resort getaway. These pieces, however, will look better on radiant skin and, that might call for a product that contains whitening ingredients like L-glutathione and Vitamin C which can be found in Active White Skin Whitening.

4. White mini dresses. Think Spring/Summer and Coachella instantly comes to mind. Bohemian styled outfits are the go-to styles, and pretty much a regular sight at any affair this season. Roberto Cavalli and Fendi have exciting pieces inspired by Boheme looks.

When you want something fresher, however, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini is throwing in several new ideas which prove to be great additions to your wardrobe. We’ve fallen in love with the mini, assymetrical white dresses paired with white, calf-high boots.

5. Vintage denim jeans and plain tees. The most stylish people have gone over their closets, took out their old, worn out blue jeans, then ripped with a blade in hand. This is one go-to look for this season that you can easily wear with just about any tee in your wardrobe. Put on your boots, trainers or loafers to complete the outfit.

Conclusion

Confidence is not something that anybody, not even fashion, can teach you. It’s a state of mind that you owe to yourself. It’s the hardwork that goes into your head that gives you confidence. In fashion, we call that sense of style.
