Locks of Love : Donating Hair To Those in Need

My daughter has BEAUTIFUL hair. In all honesty, she is complimented on it nearly every day (and not just from me...). Today she decided to let the hair dresser chop it all off and donate it to children that have long-term medical hair loss issues. She donated TEN inches of hair. It is important to note that she is only six years old, so ten inches is a long amount when thinking of her short little body. Have you ever heard of Locks of Love? Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. If you are a stylist, and your clients wish to cut off a majority of their hair, maybe you can suggest to them to check out the Locks of Love website.
