Leslie Alison Davis Weds Leonard Jacob Waddle

Leslie Alison Davis and Leonard Jacob Waddle, of Greeneville, were married at 6 p.m. April 22, 2017, at Willow Creek Acres in Limestone.

The officiating minister was Byron D. Brooks, of Johnson City.

The bride’s parents are Deanna and Brian Davis, of Greeneville. The groom is the son of Lori and Lynn Waddle, of Chuckey.

The aisle was lined with rose petals, candles in antique blue mason jars and potted purple hydrangeas. A twig heart, filled with baby’s breath, hung at the head of the aisle behind the minister, and the ceiling was lined with string lights that were illuminated throughout the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father and paternal grandfather, the bride wore a gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded lace overlay and a chapel train and a single-tier cathedral veil with lace edging.

She carried a bouquet that included an assortment of purple and white flowers, including roses, lavender and baby’s breath, wrapped in burlap and lace.

The maid of honor was Kaitlin Seaton, of Johnson City, a friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Lydia Eisenbrandt and Jessica Rabon, friends of the bride from Johnson City, and Christy Vogt, of Charlotte, North Carolina, the bride’s cousin.

The attendants wore knee-length plum cocktail dresses with a sequin and lace halter top in a fit-and-flare style.

Kinslee Lewandowski, of Greeneville, was flower girl, and Hudson Weems, of Greeneville, was ringbearer.

The best man was Jarrod Waddle, of Clinton.

Groomsmen were Todd McCrary, of Chuckey, Sayf Al-Ameri, of Pensacola, Florida, and Patrick Silvers, of Greeneville.

The bride’s mother wore an eggplant, knee-length, sequin and lace overlay dress with three-quarter-length sleeves.

The groom’s mother wore a gray, knee-length, three-quarter-length sleeved cotton dress.

Both wore corsages with a single white rose with lavender and baby’s breath tied with a white ribbon.

Wedding director was Sydney Marshall, of Maryville.

The reception was held at Willow Creek Acres, where the couple had a round, single-tier 4-inch wedding cake to cut. Guests were offered four options of miniature cupcakes, including strawberry, snickerdoodle, vanilla and chocolate fudge.

The groom’s cake, made by the groom’s mother, was modeled after an Xbox gaming console.
