Today’s top international designers/brands such as Vivienne Tam and Shiatzy Chen have seeked inspiration from these traditional Chinese dresses for setting the modern oriental trend to celebrate the inheritance of Chinese clothing aesthetics. To promote “Hong Kong Week 2013@Taipei,” Institute of Textiles & Clothing (the Hong Kong Polytechnic Uni... and the Hong Kong #Museum of #History co-organized “Legacies & Innovations: Cheongsam Fashion Show” showcasing more than 40 contemporary cheongsams by ITC fashion design staff, alumni and students and design staff at the fashion school at Taipei's Fu Jen Catholic University and Shih Chien University held at Eslite Xinyi flagship bookstore (誠品信義旗艦店 in November last year.
