Learn To Dress from 1960s Fashion Icon This Fall

The 1960s are back, and in a good way. The dresses of 1960s idols like famous actor Brigitte Bardot, music queen Marianne Faithful and Anita Pallenberg had all become the source of inspiration for many fashion designers. On the heels of Fashion Week, there is no lack of fashionable inspiration. How do dress this fall? My parting words are these: think oversized, cozy, and preppy, with a hint of vintage.

Knee high boots
The 1960s is a rock age. The young people in 1960s were keen to show their own unique personalities. Knee high boots were loved by many young ladies at that time. They loved to wear knee high boots with dresses. On the fall/winter 2014 runways, we see lots of knee high boots designs from famous brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. The clothes matched with the boots were also very typical 1960s styles.

Famous singer Marianne Faithful was really popular in 1960s. The street snap of her and her friend Marianne Faithful showed us the 1960s rock style perfectly. Marianne loved to wear mini dress with long boots. Her reckless rock style made she look so charming. If you have slim and long legs like Marianne Faithful, head for the cool knee high boots this fall!
Oversize sunglasses
Oversize sunglasses were very popular accessories among the modern people in 1960s. The exaggerated shapes would make you look so eye-catching. Fashion icons at that time like Audrey Hepburn and Marianne Faithful all loved oversize sunglasses, Compared to small frame sunglasses, oversize sunglasses are more neutral. We can see lots of oversize sunglasses on Gucci fall /winter 2014 runway.

Look at the cool oversize sunglasses that Marianne Faithful wore. She looked both and cool and feminine. I believe many girls would like to copy this look. Buy a pair of oversize sunglasses this fall!
A line coat
A line coats can show women’s feminine and elegant sides. They became famous in the 1960s. They are very classic coat styles. Compared to straight up and down styles, A line coats are better at showing feminine charm of women. On the fall/winter 2014 runways of Gucci and Louis Vuitton, we can see a lot of fabulous a line coats. The same with A line coats, A lines dresses are your best choices if you wish to look feminine and elegant. Browse tons of A line prom dresses at LunaDress
