This vintage Lanvin 70′s dress looks amazing even today and that has everything to do with Jeanne Lanvin. Jeanne Lanvin opened a millinery shop in Paris in 1890. She became known for the beautiful dresses she was making for her daughter so in 1909, Lanvin opened her dressing making business and the rest they say is history. Jeanne Lanvin was all about designing pieces that were timeless and as you can see from this dress, she was spot on. There is a lot to be said about craftsmanship and of course good taste.
