Language of Fashion

The fashion industry is clearly an international business. Unfortunately, the "words" that describe fashion may not be internationally understood.

Images of fashion can be translated equally around the globe. However, if a designer wishes to describe his or her work in words, it is important that the recepient of the information speaks and reads the same language. In addition, when someone writes a blog post, fashion review, or news story in English, it is only beneficial to people that know how to actually read English. If the fashion news story is written in English and I only know how to read Italian, that story is of little use to me.

Have you ever wondered how you could read about fashion in various languages?

In an effort to help more people read my Apparel Search website, Apparel Search has now implemented a way for viewers to read the website in several different languages. From the fashion translation section, you can find ways to read Apparel Search in Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, and several other languages.

You can read fashion news, fashion job posts, fashion blog entries etc., in the language of your choice. OK, it is true that we do not yet have every single language, but I have added as many as I could at this time. Hopefully, more can be added in the future.
