For a pretaped Sunday, July 24, episode, Bell, 36, who now shares two daughters with her husband of three years, got choked up talking about her nuptials. "We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse," Bell shared, "and it was still one of the best days of my life."

Eschewing the traditional white, the Bad Moms actress chose a short-sleeved, all-black ensemble that tied at the waist, topped by a statement necklace. In lieu of a bouquet, she carried two flowers. Shepard, 41, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic tailored tuxedo, finished with a black bow tie.

The Veronica Mars alum also talked about what makes her husband such a good partner. "He's a wonderful father," she said, tearing up. "He was an addict for many, many years, and he pulled himself out of it. He's been sober for 11 or 12 years now — I think almost 12 — and he knows how many times he's messed up. And how many times he's been really close to losing everything."

Bell, who attended San Diego Comic-Con this past week to promote her new TV show, The Good Place, said that in the end, it all comes down to family for her. "I always think if I'm on my deathbed, what am I going to be thinking about? And it won't be some random movie you participated in or some TV show. It will be my family," she said.
