KAELEN at New York Fashion Week

Saturday was the New York Fashion Week presentation of KAELEN’s S/S 2011 collection.

The collection, in a natural and light color pallet, was influenced by a recent tornado chasing trip designer Kaelen Francombe took. All the pieces, either in yarn knits, draped silks or washed leathers, with a lot of natural hand-dying treatments, worked fabulously as sets, as well as stand alone items. We have to mention stylist Eva Zuckerman who did a fantastic job highlighting the natural beauty of the much coveted collection.

We’ll let the photos, both front row and backstage, do the rest of the talking.
