British born, Dominique Lucas’ interest in jewelry began in Mexico where she worked alongside local jewelry artisan specialists that she met whilst undertaking her degree in Medicine. Shortly after this, Dominique relocated to Florence, known for its legacy and long tradition of goldsmiths. Dominique began working with the local Italian jewelry designers to hone her skills. During this time, she began creating her own pieces incorporating historical and cultural influences in Victorian symbolism, Italian heritage and Mexico’s reference to mythical creatures.
